Visit to The Gudwara in Leamington
Having learnt about Sikhism during our RE lessons, we recently visited
the Gudwara in Leamington.
This magnificent Sikh temple serves the community around Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth. It also plays an important role in the wider community by educating and engaging people from all sorts of different backgrounds.
The visit really helped to bring our learning to life.
Women's World Cycle Tour
Year 4 joined Year 3 to line Coventry Street in support of the cyclists passing through Southam en route to Leamington. There was great excitement in the build up and the children were rewarded for their support as the cyclists passed through with big smiles from the participants.
We used the experience for literacy becoming journalists for the afternoon and
writing a newspaper report.

Day of The Drones
We enjoyed a fun day at Long Itchington Primary School where we learnt how to program
drones as well as having the opportunity to take part in some Forest School activities.
Thank you to Long Itchington for having us; we all enjoyed a great day.
It was also a lovely opportunity to make new friends.
Christmas Art Workshop Day
The whole school enjoyed a special day of activities to coincide with
the Children ion Need appeal.
