Purple4Polio Crocus Corms Planting 2017

Under the guidance of The Rotary Club of Southam 2000, we are very pleased to have taken part in their Crocus Corms Planting for 2017 with children from each year group having the chance to take part.

The purple crocus is a symbol of Rotary's worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, with it's colour representing the purple dye used to mark the finger of a child to indicate they have received their life saving oral polio vaccine.

The event fell on a beautiful sunny afternoon which added to the children's enjoyment.
